Well I took the “Sleepy Black Holo”
manicure off. I wasn’t really a fan and as I keep saying, I just wanted to
play around with more colors. I dug
through my bag of polishes and found a few I thought might be interesting. So
naturally, since I wasn’t sure how they would look on, I did my usual of
painting each nail a different color of interest.
The
four colors I chose to test this time were :
Kleancolor #45 Copper
Kleancolor #76 Jewelry Red
Kleancolor #47 Gold Bright
Each nail
in the picture is only one coat of polish which is fantastic. The Americano
and the Gold Bright would look better with an extra coat I think, but the
Copper and Jewelry Red don’t need it.

When I first saw the
Jewelry Red in the bottle I thought I would never use it. I wasn’t a huge
fan of the color, but now that I have seen it on my nails I do! It really
reminds me more of a deep red metallic.
I knew I loved the copper as soon as I saw it. These are very pearly
colors. I am very happy I have them in my collection.

But I couldn’t stop
there. So I added a layer of Kleancolor #296 Sugar
Cravings on top of the Jewelry Red. Very interesting! The Sugar Cravings
Polish is labeled as being “3D” and it is. When I first applied it, it
reminded me of Rock Candy when I was a kid, only a much tinier version. It
looks bright and sparkly when I first applied it. After awhile it slightly
took on the color of the polish, which makes sense I think because the
crystals are kind of see through. But it looked really nice.

This image below is a weird
angle I know… but I did that specifically so you could see the 3D of the
Sugar Cravings Polish.
The pros and cons… well it looks
cool but because it sticks up and is slightly jagged, it can catch on
things, like your clothes etc, depending on the material. But a thick top
coat might resolve that problem. I haven’t tried that yet. I will update if
and when I do.

Now to decide which color and what
kind of manicure I want to do. Decisions, Decisions!
